ISLAMABAD, April 6. /Dunyo IA/. Leading Pakistani publications, such as “Islamabad Post”, “Daily Independent”, “Pakistan In The World”, “The World News” and “The Diplomatic Insight”, published an article by Eldor Tulyakov, Executive Director of the “Development Strategy” Center, dedicated to the updated “Uzbekistan – 2030” strategy, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The article emphasizes that the updated strategy is a crucial document marking the beginning of a new stage in the country's development and reforms.

One of the key aspects of this strategy is its implementation based on clear criteria. A total of 100 annually evaluated goals have been defined through 2030, with clearly identified responsible agencies, implementation mechanisms, and funding sources for each. This serves to ensure accountability and transparency in governance. It was also noted that international organizations and partners can participate in the process by providing oversight and expert assistance.

The author notes that the first priority of this strategy is aimed at developing human potential and includes 44 goals related to public well-being. These cover the fields of education, healthcare, employment, and social protection. Furthermore, tasks have been set to increase funding for science, foster innovation and place Uzbekistan among the top 60 countries in the Global Innovation Index.

The second important direction is sustainable economic growth. According to the author, the plan is to increase GDP to USD 240 billion by 2030 and significantly raise GDP per capita. At the same time, goals have been set for the development of a “green” economy, expanding renewable energy sources and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

The strategy also pays special attention to ensuring the rule of law and forming effective public administration. In particular, it provides for the improvement of local governance, the expansion of e-government services and the reduction of unnecessary bureaucratic barriers.

The updated strategy is aimed at forming a safe and peace-loving state, which will be achieved through active foreign policy, strengthening regional cooperation, supporting compatriots abroad and regulating labour migration.

The article states that the updated “Uzbekistan - 2030” Strategy will serve as a vital program defining the main directions of the country's development for the coming decade.
