LONDON, February 4. /Dunyo IA/.  The UK capital hosted the prestigious international tourism fair “Destinations: The Holiday and Travel Show”, bringing together industry representatives, leading tour operators, media and a global audience, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

As part of the fair, Uzbekistan showcased its rich historical and cultural heritage, modern tourism infrastructure and the country’s travel opportunities.

Leading UK tour operators – “Wanderlust”, “Wild Frontiers” and “Cox & Kings” - also presented travel packages and itineraries for Uzbekistan. Through their programs, these companies helped raise awareness of Uzbekistan as a tourist destination and promoted the country among international travelers.

During the event, a special presentation dedicated to Uzbekistan was delivered by Sophie Ibbotson, the country’s tourism brand ambassador to the United Kingdom. In her address, she highlighted Uzbekistan’s historic cities, rich cultural heritage, traditions of hospitality and ongoing tourism reforms. The presentation drew strong interest from participants and is expected to increase the likelihood of future travel to Uzbekistan.

Participation in the fair marked an important step in strengthening Uzbekistan’s position on the international tourism market and enhancing the country’s image among British and European travelers.

“Destinations: The Holiday and Travel Show” is one of the UK’s most popular tourism exhibitions. Held annually for more than 30 years, it brings together over 800 tourism brands.
