SEOUL, June 8. /Dunyo IA/. Diplomats from the Embassy of Uzbekistan represented our country at the “Seoul International Travel Fair” (SITF), reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

“Seoul International Travel Fair” is one of the largest tourism events in the Asian region and annually brings together leading representatives of the tourism industry, national tourism organizations, tour operators and industry specialists on a single platform.

This year, tourism representatives from many countries worldwide also participated in the exhibition. Within the framework of the event, the diplomatic mission of Uzbekistan presented our country's rich cultural and historical heritage, its tourism potential, national traditions and modern travel opportunities.

During the exhibition, participants and guests had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with Uzbekistan's historic cities, unique cultural heritage, gastronomic tourism opportunities and the ongoing reforms in the country's tourism sector.

In addition, national Uzbek costumes representing a unique blend of the Uzbek people's traditions and modern fashion trends were showcased. The rich and diverse cultural heritage of Uzbekistan reflected in these outfits made a profound impression on the exhibition visitors.

According to South Korean tourism industry representatives, Uzbekistan arouses significant interest among tourists due to its rich historical and cultural heritage, unique architectural monuments, and hospitable people. They also emphasized the substantial potential for further expanding tourism cooperation between Uzbekistan and South Korea and increasing the flow of Korean tourists to our country.
