DROHICZYN, July 23. /Dunyo IA/. An Uzbek delegation took part with a national pavilion in the Fourth Drohiczyn Fair, organized by the city's local authorities and cultural centers, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The Uzbek pavilion featured promotional materials highlighting the country's tourism potential, along with dried fruits, traditional clothing, textiles, and handicrafts. Visitors were treated to authentic Uzbek plov and a traditional tea ceremony, accompanied by presentations on Uzbekistan's renowned hospitality. The cultural program also included national music and live performances on traditional musical instruments.

Speaking to journalists, fair visitors shared their impressions of the Uzbek exhibition. Michał Tomak, a secondary school teacher, said he was impressed by the beauty of Uzbekistan's landmarks and praised the country's grapes, describing them as exceptionally delicious. He also expressed his firm intention to visit Uzbekistan in person.

Ola Dżimala, an employee of a local cultural center, said she plans to travel to Uzbekistan with her family this November to explore the country's rich history, culture, and hospitality.

Agnieszka Gumbrycht, a regional photographer, noted that the pavilion had been prepared with great care and warmth. She said the national music, live performance on a traditional flute, and authentic Uzbek plov created the feeling of a genuine journey to Uzbekistan, adding that the experience had strengthened her desire to visit the country.

Agribusiness entrepreneur Adam Słowik said he is considering a trip to Uzbekistan this autumn, while Polish businessman Krzysztof Stępnowski noted that he may travel there with his daughter, who is already planning a visit later this year.

The event contributed to strengthening Uzbekistan's positive image in Poland, promoting the country's rich cultural and tourism potential, and expanding practical cooperation with local authorities and the broader public.
