LONDON, 6 November. /Dunyo IA/. From 4 to 6 November, London hosts one of the world’s most prestigious tourism events, the "World Travel Market (WTM) 2025", reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Through its national pavilion at "WTM 2025", Uzbekistan is showcasing to the international community its rich historical and cultural heritage. Key highlights include the country’s UNESCO World Heritage cities: Bukhara, Samarkand, and Khiva — as well as its natural and eco-tourism destinations, traditional craft schools, gastronomic tourism opportunities, and modern hospitality infrastructure.

In addition, the fair features participation from Uzbekistan’s Tourism Committee, the Khorezm Regional Administration, representatives of "Uzbekistan Airways", and leading tour operators from across the country.

The event will also host B2B and B2C negotiations between representatives from Uzbekistan, regional authorities, entrepreneurs, and international companies. These discussions aim to foster the development of joint marketing initiatives, expand direct flight connections, attract investment to key projects, and further strengthen Uzbekistan’s national brand on the global stage.

It is noteworthy that from January to September this year, the number of British tourists visiting Uzbekistan reached 20,000, marking a 25% increase compared to the same period last year, when 16,154 visitors were recorded.

It was noted that Uzbekistan’s regular participation in "WTM 2025" aims to enhance the country’s prestige in the global tourism market and plays a key role in further promoting the nation’s brands on the international stage.

The "World Travel Market (WTM)" has been held annually in London since 1980, bringing together thousands of tourism professionals. Each year, the event features exhibition stands from over 180 countries and showcases around 5,000 travel companies and tour operators.
