TASHKENT, February 11. /Dunyo IA/. “Uzbekistan Construction and Interior Week” is currently underway in Tashkent, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

From 10 to 12 February 2026, all pavilions of the “Uzexpocentre” National Exhibition Complex (NEC) are hosting the country’s flagship construction industry events: the 27th Uzbekistan International Exhibition “Construction - UzBuild 2026”, the specialized section “Construction Equipment and Technologies – BuildTech 2026” and the 7th International Conference of the Construction Industry (ICCI 2026).

A total of 450 companies and brands from 22 countries are participating. International exhibitors account for a significant 79 percent of participants. National pavilions are presented by Germany, Russia and Türkiye, while collective expositions have been organized by Georgia, Iran, Latvia and for the first time, Georgia under the “Made in Georgia” format.

The exhibition spans the entire construction cycle - from design and materials manufacturing to finishing and engineering solutions. The venues showcase advanced technologies, construction machinery, innovative materials and infrastructure solutions, highlighting the sector’s ongoing modernization and international engagement.

The centerpiece of the business agenda is the International Conference of the Construction Industry (ICCI 2026), held under the theme “New Uzbekistan: From Ideas to Large-Scale Solutions”. Discussions are focusing in particular on the implementation of the “New Tashkent” mega-project, as well as on the introduction of innovative technologies in the production of construction materials.

UzBuild continues to affirm its status as the country’s leading industry platform and a national brand, promoting international cooperation, attracting investment and expanding business partnerships.

Hannah Xu, President of the Chinese company, shared her impressions of the exhibition:

-  We are participating in this exhibition for the first time, arriving with a clear objective - to establish new business contacts and identify potential clients. China and Uzbekistan are reliable partners and our countries have traditionally maintained friendly and constructive relations, creating a solid foundation for expanding cooperation.

As is well known, President Xi Jinping’s Belt and Road Initiative has already opened up broad opportunities for Chinese manufacturers and continues to facilitate the expansion of economic ties. It is precisely within this context that we decided to take part in this exhibition.

During the event, we hope to find reliable partners, particularly among furniture manufacturers and factories. Overall, I remain optimistic and confident that our participation will yield concrete and practical results.

We are interested in building long-term and promising partnerships. If you have contacts of companies or entrepreneurs operating in the furniture sector who may be interested in cooperation, we would greatly appreciate your support.

As for my impressions of Uzbekistan and the exhibition, they are entirely positive. I would especially like to highlight the warm and sincere hospitality of the people, which has left a lasting impression on me.
