“BMB HOLDING” and Italian firm “Berlusconi Finanziaria” accelerate investment project on waste-to-energy production in Uzbekistan

• 152ROME, January 31. /Dunyo IA/. On 29 January, in the Italian capital, discussions took place between Bekzod Mamatkulov, Chairman of the Board of Founders at “BMB HOLDING” and his close associate, Paolo Berlusconi, President of “Berlusconi Finanziaria”, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
“Berlusconi Finanziaria” is currently engaged in the construction of large-scale industrial facilities specializing in hydrogen and ammonia production in Italy and several other European countries.
In addition, the company has over 15 years of experience successfully developing floating solar power plants, demonstrating a long-term commitment to renewable energy and sustainable industrial innovation.
“Berlusconi Finanziaria” is currently implementing a large-scale project to build a new major airport valued at €1.5 billion, highlighting the company’s extensive experience in industrial and infrastructure development.
During the talks in Rome, both parties discussed the establishment of comprehensive cooperation on joint investment projects across multiple sectors of Uzbekistan’s economy. The agenda included expanding foreign investment, introducing advanced European technologies and leveraging international best practices.
In particular, the discussions resulted in an agreement to accelerate the practical implementation of an investment project aimed at generating electricity in Uzbekistan through the processing of household and hazardous waste.
The negotiations, held in a constructive and friendly atmosphere, concluded with Bekzod Mamatkulov, Chairman of the Board of Founders at “BMB HOLDING” extending an invitation to Paolo Berlusconi, President of
“Berlusconi Finanziaria”, to visit Uzbekistan in the near future. The visit is expected to further deepen mutually beneficial cooperation in the mining industry, mineral resource development, energy-saving technologies and broader trade and economic partnership.
