The 33rd Anniversary of the Constitution Day of Uzbekistan celebrated across the Baltic States

• 104RIGA, December 10. /Dunyo IA/. Latvia and Estonia hosted a series of large-scale cultural and educational events commemorating Constitution Day of Uzbekistan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
Uzbek nationals residing and studying in Latvia and Estonia, officials from both countries, as well as representatives of the local communities, actively participated in the events.
Guests were provided with detailed information on Uzbekistan’s recent constitutional reforms and the government’s policy measures aimed at safeguarding human rights and fundamental freedoms.
As part of the cultural programme, the “Friendship of Peoples” ensemble performed traditional Uzbek dances and songs, showcasing the unique heritage and artistic richness of Uzbekistan.
The ensemble also staged a special performance in Tallinn, which was warmly received by the audience. Their concert on the Christmas Square in the Old Town - one of Tallinn’s key tourist attractions - offered international guests a vivid glimpse into Uzbekistan’s rich cultural legacy.
The events held in the Baltic states not only provided a fitting celebration of the Constitution Day of Uzbekistan but also contributed to the further strengthening of cultural and humanitarian ties between Uzbekistan and Latvia and Estonia. Moreover, they served as an important platform for expanding engagement with Uzbek communities abroad and promoting Uzbekistan’s culture and arts on the international stage.
