BUDAPEST, December 27. /Dunyo IA/.   Officials from the Consular Section of the Embassy of Uzbekistan provided essential assistance to Uzbek citizen A.Zh., and his family regarding their return to the homeland, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During his request, the citizen explained the need to obtain a return certificate for his minor child, born in Croatia, who had not previously been registered with an Uzbek passport. He also noted the inability to independently purchase airline tickets for the return journey, as previously bought tickets had been canceled due to the child’s lack of documentation.

Given the circumstances, the Consular Section promptly established contact with the relevant authorities in Uzbekistan to explore the possibility of providing financial assistance for the purchase of airline tickets through the Migrant Assistance Fund.

Following coordination, airline tickets were secured for the applicant and his family on a flight later this year. Simultaneously, the return certificate for the minor child was duly processed.

Thanks to the coordinated efforts of the Consular Section, the family was able to return home safely and on time on 26 December, with attention given to their needs and the creation of conditions for a smooth and comfortable journey.
