WASHINGTON, August 2. /Dunyo IA/. A group of young activists from the Uzbek diaspora visited the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Washington, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Diplomats introduced the visitors to the national values and historical heritage of the Uzbek people, emphasizing the importance of fostering solidarity within the diaspora through increased civic engagement.
As part of the visit, a tour was conducted at the Embassy’s museum, where guests learned about key periods in Uzbekistan’s history and were introduced to information about prominent ancestors of the Uzbek nation, as well as the traditions of national statehood, culture, and customs.
The educational segment of the event featured a screening of the feature film "Bahodir Yalangto’sh", which embodies the national values and patriotic spirit of the Uzbek people. Through the film, participants gained insight into the honorable and courageous lives of their ancestors, ancient statehood, and the military art of Uzbekistan.
The Embassy visit reinforced a sense of national pride, identity, and connection to historical heritage among the Uzbek youth, while also unveiling previously unexplored facets of Uzbek culture to American young people.
