DONGGUAN, April 15. /Dunyo IA/. Diplomats from the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Guangzhou participated in the “China International Food and Ingredients Expo” held in Dongguan, Guangdong Province, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

“Uzbekistan” national stand featured a wide range of agricultural products, confectionery, foodstuffs, as well as legumes and dried fruits.

Within the framework of the event, business contacts were established with several local companies, and agreements were reached to hold bilateral negotiations with Uzbek enterprises to work out export contracts.

During meetings with the leadership of the Foreign Affairs Bureau and the Department of Commerce of Dongguan, as well as the Department of Agriculture of Guangxi Province, issues of the consistent development of economic diplomacy in interregional relations were discussed.

The parties focused on intensifying mutual exchanges and expanding practical cooperation in the agricultural sector.

In particular, views were exchanged on organizing upcoming visits to Uzbekistan by delegations from the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and the Dongguan municipality.
