“Within the framework of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, we held a productive meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, H.E. Khalilur Rahman,” the head of Uzbekistan’s Foreign Ministry wrote on his telegram channel. “We sincerely congratulated our colleague on his appointment to this responsible position and wished him success in his future activities.

We discussed opportunities for expanding trade and economic cooperation, increasing mutual trade turnover, as well as making more effective use of the existing potential.

We noted the significant potential for further strengthening cooperation with Bangladesh both at the regional level and within multilateral platforms.”
