TASHKENT, April 19 /"Dunyo" IA/. Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov met yesterday in Antalya with Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov, "Dunyo" IA’s correspondent reports.
“We held a warm and substantive meeting with H.E. Jeyhun Bayramov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, - the Uzbek foreign minister wrote on his telegram channel. - During the talks, we particularly noted the steady strengthening of ties of friendship, mutual respect, and trust, rooted in the shared history, language, and values that unite our peoples.
We discussed priority areas on the bilateral agenda aimed at further advancing the strategic partnership and alliance between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.
We agreed to make the most effective use of existing opportunities to deepen cooperation in trade, transport and logistics, energy, and cultural and humanitarian spheres.”
