KUALA LUMPUR, November 28. /Dunyo IA/. From 21 to 30 November, Uzbekistan’s religious tourism programs were showcased at the “Ikhlas Travel Fair 2025”, held at “Sungai Wang Plaza”, one of Kuala Lumpur’s largest shopping and entertainment complexes, with the support of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Malaysia, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The exhibition was organized by “Ikhlas Travel”, one of Malaysia’s largest tour operators, and provided participants with detailed information on Uzbekistan’s wide-ranging tourism reforms, the rapid development of religious tourism, and the measures being implemented to ensure convenient conditions for visitors. The presentation also highlighted that Malaysian citizens can enter Uzbekistan visa-free, and that direct flights between Tashkent and Kuala Lumpur are currently operated seven times a week by “AirAsia” and other airlines.

As part of the event, “Ikhlas Travel” introduced to the public its new tourism program, “Umrah Plus”, which includes visits to the historic cities of Tashkent, Bukhara, and Samarkand.

Among the Malaysian participants at the exhibition, Uzbekistan’s numerous religious sites and tourism centers, its rich cultural heritage, unique architecture, and national traditions attracted significant interest.
