CAIRO, January 21. /Dunyo IA/. Online talks were held between representatives of the Uzbek company “Niche” and the Egyptian private education firm “Raya Study”, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The dialogue primarily focused on establishing a sustainable and highly effective framework for directing Egyptian youth to higher education institutions in Uzbekistan, as well as on elevating bilateral strategic partnership between the two companies to a new level.

During the talks, the leadership of “Raya Study” emphasized that Egyptian youth are actively seeking safe and promising alternative destinations for their education. In this context, Uzbekistan was highlighted as a country of growing interest in the Egyptian educational market, due to its stable socio-political environment, high-quality academic standards and shared cultural and spiritual affinities.

Representatives of “Raya Study” expressed their readiness to gradually increase the flow of students, setting a target to begin admissions in 2026 with 500-1,000 students and ultimately expand enrolment across medical, engineering and humanities programs to reach 7,000 students annually.

To achieve these objectives, “Raya Study” proposed organizing large-scale educational fairs in Cairo and Alexandria during the summer and autumn of 2026, featuring representatives from leading higher education institutions of Uzbekistan. In response, “Niche” confirmed its commitment to facilitate direct contacts with both public and private universities in Uzbekistan and to provide professional consulting support throughout the admissions process.

As a result of the discussions, an agreement was reached to sign a Memorandum of Cooperation between “Niche” and “Raya Study”. The document aims to significantly increase the flow of Egyptian youth to higher education institutions in Uzbekistan and to establish, in coordination with the relevant authorities of both countries, a simplified and efficient visa support process for students.
