ISLAMABAD, April 15. /Dunyo IA/. Pakistan's media outlets are actively covering the upcoming fifth anniversary Tashkent International Investment Forum, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
Leading Pakistani news outlets, including “Associated Press of Pakistan”, highlighted “Tashkent as a central investment hub ahead of the 5th International Investment Forum”. These publications focused on the forum's role in attracting investment to the region.
The articles report that from June 16th to 19th, 2026, Tashkent will host the country’s largest investment platform and one of the region’s most significant business forums, organized this year under the motto “Investment Resilience: New Frontiers, New Partnerships”.
Tashkent International Investment Forum is constantly expanding its scale in parallel with the country's economic growth. Last year's forum brought together more than 8,000 participants, including about 3,000 foreign delegates from 97 countries, while the total value of signed contracts and agreements reached USD 30.5 billion.
The central theme of the upcoming anniversary event will be the Tashkent International Financial Center, established in March 2026 by a decree of the President of Uzbekistan.
The business program of the TIIF-2026 forum is structured around four content blocks, including issues of investment resilience, capital protection, the development of financial infrastructure, logistics corridors and climate finance.
Pakistan's media highlight such important sessions as discussions on regulatory frameworks for alternative investment funds, the development of the Middle Corridor and Trans-Caspian logistics, as well as panel discussions on Central Asian sovereign ratings and the practice of working with blended finance instruments.
Particular attention in the articles is paid to energy issues and Uzbekistan’s strategic goal of increasing the share of renewable energy sources in electricity production to 54% by 2030.
TIIF-2026 is expected to be held on an even larger scale, attracting guests from an even greater number of countries. According to foreign publications, the anniversary forum will become a key point of attraction for international capital and the main platform for shaping the region's investment agenda.
