KUWAIT, January 2. /«Dunyo» IA/. A presentation showcasing Uzbekistan’s tourism potential was held in the capital of Kuwait, «Dunyo» IA’s correspondent reports.

The event was attended by Ambassador of Uzbekistan Ayubkhon Yunusov, Kuwaiti blogger Abdulkarim Al-Hindal, representatives of Kuwaiti travel agencies, the airline Jazeera Airways, as well as bloggers and social media influencers.

During the presentation, participants discussed tourism development forecasts for 2025, prospects for expanding tourism exchanges, the current state of cooperation in the tourism sector, and plans for 2026.

Kuwaiti participants were briefed on Uzbekistan’s tourism opportunities, services offered to visitors, and special travel packages for trips to the country’s historic cities and resort destinations. Informational materials about Uzbekistan were distributed among the attendees.

A representative of Jazeera Airways spoke about existing direct flights from Kuwait to Tashkent and Namangan, future plans, and the airline’s vision for developing Uzbekistan as a tourism destination and increasing tourist flows from Kuwait.

At the conclusion of the event, proposals from representatives of travel companies and the tourism industry were presented, aimed at increasing the number of tourists traveling from Kuwait to Uzbekistan.
