ASTANA, March 31. /Dunyo IA/. A solemn ceremony for the launch of the inaugural “Centrum Air” flight on the Astana–Tashkent route took place at the international airport of Kazakhstan’s capital, attended by Uzbek diplomats, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan, “Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport JSC”, Civil Aviation Committee of Kazakhstan, “Centrum Air”, as well as the first passengers of the new flight.

With the support of the Embassy, the cultural program was highlighted by a vibrant performance from students of the “NOMAD” Academy of Choreography, who presented a variety of Uzbek and Kazakh national dances, reflecting the richness and unique identity of both cultures.

The ceremony included a warm welcome for the passengers, congratulatory remarks to the airline on the launch of the new route and the traditional cutting of a celebratory cake.

In their speeches, Embassy officials congratulated the participants on the launch of the Astana - Tashkent air route, emphasizing that its opening will further strengthen business, tourism and cultural ties between the two countries, as well as bring the two peoples closer together. They expressed wishes for successful development, stable operations and safe flights. It was noted that the new route will serve as a reliable air bridge between the capitals and open up additional prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation.
