RIGA, March 31. /Dunyo IA/. For the first time, an international hackathon for IT students has opened in the capital of Latvia, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The event was organized by the Embassy of our country in collaboration with the “Vatandoshlar” Foundation and World Association of Youth of Uzbekistan.

During the competition, Uzbek students from Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia spent 48 hours developing innovative ideas and socially significant IT projects. The results of the hackathon are evaluated based on “innovation”, “practical value”, “design quality” and “presentation level”.

The goal of the event is to foster innovative thinking and a technological culture among youth abroad, as well as to create a platform for collaboration between IT specialists.

As part of the hackathon, the Ministry of Digital Technologies, the Central Bank of Uzbekistan, National Bank and “Uzinfocom” provided participants with special case studies. Winners will be awarded valuable prizes.
