An Iftar for compatriots held in the Leningrad Region

SAINT PETERSBURG, March 17. /Dunyo IA/. An Iftar was held in Russia's Leningrad Region for citizens of Uzbekistan working at the “LenOblKarton” enterprise, located in the Gatchina Municipal District, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The guest of honor was Ilyoskhon Sobitov, the Imam-Khatib of the “Obid Qori Hoji” mosque in the Namangan region. He noted that, at the instruction of the country's leadership, he is visiting compatriots abroad to learn about their living and working conditions during the holy month of Ramadan, and also conveyed greetings on the occasion of the blessed month on behalf of the leadership of Uzbekistan.
Ilyoskhon Sobitov emphasized the importance of preserving spiritual values and warned against involvement in various radical religious movements or the use of prohibited information resources. He also informed that the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan operates a 24-hour call center that can be contacted at any time regarding any religious questions.
Employees of the Consulate General and the Migration Agency representative office explained the procedure for temporary consular registration and provided information on the financial and legal support measures available to labor migrants abroad.
The compatriots expressed their gratitude to the country's leadership for the attention and support provided to the citizens of Uzbekistan staying outside their homeland.
