PRAGUE, January 17. /Dunyo IA/.   In the Czech capital, discussions were held with Jan Prokš, Director at Electrical and Electronic Association of the Czech Republic, on prospects for cooperation in electronics, electrical engineering, automation, energy and related industrial sectors, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the meeting, the Czech side was briefed on the reforms implemented in Uzbekistan since 2016, including favourable conditions for foreign investors and opportunities in manufacturing, financial operations and export processes. It was emphasized that the development of industrial production in the electronics and electrical engineering sectors remains a key priority of Uzbekistan’s economic policy.

The leadership of the Czech Electrotechnical Association identified electronics, electrical engineering and engineering technologies as promising areas for international industrial cooperation and expressed interest in collaboration with Uzbekistan. The Czech representatives highlighted the experience and expertise of Czech companies in industrial automation, Industry 4.0 solutions, artificial intelligence, mechatronics as well as the production of high-tech equipment for the energy and mining sectors.

During the discussion, it was emphasized that Uzbekistan offers a stable economic environment, providing access to the major markets of Central Asia and Eurasia, and is particularly attractive for collaboration given the GSP+ preferential trade regime with the European Union.

Following the meeting, both sides underlined the importance of developing mutually beneficial cooperation in electrical engineering and electronics as well as intensifying business ties and exchanging expertise through participation in international exhibitions.
