Uzbekistan's tourism potential presented in Warsaw

WARSAW, March 31. /Dunyo IA/. Embassy of Uzbekistan organized an event in the Polish capital dedicated to the celebration of Navruz, titled “Uzbekistan – The pearl of the great Silk Road”, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
Event was attended by representatives of Poland’s leading travel companies, including “AB Poland Travel”, “Olimp Air Biuro Podróży”, “Travolo.pl”, “Barents.pl”, “Torre.pl”, “Dream Go” and “Górskie Biuro Podróży”. Also in attendance were representatives from “LOT Polish Airlines”, “Air Arabia”, “Turkish Airlines”, Polish-Uzbek Chamber of Commerce and Industry, “Ambasador” magazine and members of the media.
The meeting featured a discussion where participants were introduced to Uzbekistan’s tourism potential and explored opportunities to increase tourist flow and launch joint projects. The parties agreed to further expand their cooperation and implement joint tourism initiatives.
Janusz Piechociński, Chairman of the “Poland-Asia” Chamber of Commerce and Industry and former Vice-Prime Minister of Poland, stated:
- There is a growing interest among Poles in the unique nature, rich history, and high culture of Uzbekistan. We are particularly drawn to the positive changes in the manufacturing, industrial and agricultural sectors. In 2024, “LOT” Airlines launched direct flights to Tashkent and we are now looking forward to the start of flights by “Uzbekistan Airways”.

- Today's event clearly demonstrates Uzbekistan's openness to cooperation with Poland and Polish society. Your country is an extremely attractive destination for Polish tourists. I am confident that events like this will stimulate even greater interest among Polish people in visiting your country.
