Promotional campaign on Uzbekistan’s pilgrimage tourism launched in Malaysia

ALO SETAR, March 26. /Dunyo IA/. The Embassy of Uzbekistan has launched a promotional campaign in Alor Setar, the capital of Malaysia’s northern state of Kedah, as well as on Langkawi Island, aimed at promoting the country’s pilgrimage tourism potential, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The project is being implemented in cooperation with the Tourism Committee of Uzbekistan, the Kedah State Administration, and Batik Air, with the aim of further increasing tourist arrivals from Malaysia.
The campaign covers key locations, including large-format screens on Langkawi Island and advertising displays placed along busy central streets in Kedah, attracting significant interest among the local population.
Video materials showcasing Uzbekistan’s tourist destinations, its ancient and modern architectural landmarks, as well as its unique natural landscapes, will be broadcast on advertising screens across central areas of Kedah and Langkawi Island over a three-month period.
