ТOKYO, February 4. /Dunyo IA/. An international art exhibition titled “Art Without Boundries” is being held at the National Art Center, Tokyo, from 22 January to 1 February, as part of the exhibition, a dedicated section has been established showcasing works by young artists from Uzbekistan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The exhibition features more than 500 artworks from 36 countries around the world. Within the “Uzbek Corner”, around 40 works are on display, created by students of specialised art schools from all regions of Uzbekistan as well as by Uzbek compatriots currently residing in Japan.

The exhibited pieces portray Uzbekistan’s natural landscapes, its rich cultural heritage, national traditions, historical monuments and shared human values, while also highlighting elements of Uzbek–Japanese friendship, expressed through distinctive and original artistic styles.

Representatives of the Embassy attended the opening ceremony and expressed their appreciation to the organisers. It was noted that providing an opportunity to introduce the Japanese public to Uzbekistan’s culture and spiritual world through the creative works of Uzbek children at a prestigious art venue in the heart of Japan contributes significantly to strengthening cultural ties between the two countries.

Addressing the audience, the exhibition’s organiser and Chairman of the International “Sumie” Society, the renowned Japanese artist Tohun Kobayashi, underlined that the creative works of young artists from Uzbekistan have been becoming increasingly profound and artistically accomplished with each passing year. According to him, the children’s paintings harmoniously convey a strong national spirit, respect for history and a sense of hope for the future, generating significant interest among Japanese audiences.
