LONDON, July 8. /Dunyo IA/. Embassy of Uzbekistan in London convened a bilateral meeting with Dr. Duncan Cockburn, Pro Vice-Chancellor of “Robert Gordon University” in the United Kingdom, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
Discussions centred on the strategic vectors of enhancing academic synergy and institutional partnership between the higher education sectors of Uzbekistan and Great Britain.
Interlocutors deliberated upon the strategic vectors for the further consolidation of bilateral engagement, the enhancement of higher education benchmarks, the advancement of collaborative scientific research and the extension of cross-border academic alliances.
Special emphasis was placed on cultivating fluid academic mobility pathways for professors and students, the execution of joint and double-degree programs, institutional synergy within scientific research endeavours and international capacity-building grants, alongside the orchestration of joint symposia, thematic workshops and professional development initiatives.
In conclusion of the high-level consultations, the contracting parties reaffirmed their shared commitment to advancing tangible cooperation and executing collaborative initiatives designed to solidify institutional partnerships between the higher education sectors of Uzbekistan and the United Kingdom.
