Samarkand and Dubrovnik strengthen cooperation in culture, tourism and business

DUBROVNIK, 29 June. /Dunyo IA/. As part of his participation in the Dubrovnik Forum, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Croatia with residence in Budapest, Oybek Shakhavdinov, held talks with Dubrovnik Mayor Mato Franković, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for expanding interregional cooperation, with particular emphasis on establishing partnership ties between the cities of Samarkand and Dubrovnik.

Following the talks, agreements were reached to develop practical cooperation between the two cities, including the organization of joint cultural and humanitarian events, reciprocal presentations of the tourism potential of Samarkand and Dubrovnik, facilitation of business missions, and expansion of contacts between the business communities of Uzbekistan and Croatia.
