LONDON, January 6. /Dunyo IA/. The Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the United Kingdom, Ravshan Usmanov, met with Darren Comber, Chief Executive Officer of the British architecture and engineering firm “Scott Brownrigg”, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
Founded in 1910, “Scott Brownrigg” is a leading firm in the delivery of large-scale infrastructure and urban development projects. The company is headquartered in London and operates nine offices across the United Kingdom and internationally. Its expertise spans architecture, interior design, master planning, and urban development.
The parties discussed potential cooperation in urban development, education, transport, and creative industries, as well as the implementation of projects in Uzbekistan. The head of the British company emphasized that he views the Uzbek market as a strategic priority.
Both sides noted that the ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan create significant opportunities for long-term investment and innovative projects.
The company has executed major projects in sectors such as aviation, rail transport, education, and defence, including Terminal 4 at London Heathrow Airport (1986), the Headquarters of the UK Armed Forces in Northwood (2010), and Istanbul Airport in Turkey (2018).
