Bakhtiyor Saidov: We highly value Germany as one of our reliable and time-tested partners in Europe

ТАSHKENT, August 11. /Dunyo IA/. Today, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov accepted the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador of Germany, Matthias Vollert, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
“Received the copies of the credentials of H.E. Matthias Vollert, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to Uzbekistan, - the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel. - We highly value Germany as one of our reliable and time-tested partners in Europe. In recent years, Uzbekistan–Germany relations have been steadily developing through high-level visits and regular political dialogue.
During the meeting, we discussed key issues on the bilateral agenda and emphasized the importance of the timely and effective implementation of the agreements reached at the highest level.
Wished the Ambassador every success in his responsible and honourable diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan”.
It is worth recalling that diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and Germany were established on March 6, 1992.
Ambassador Matthias Vollert succeeded Manfred Huterer, who headed the Embassy of Germany in Tashkent in 2024–2026.
On the eve, an address by the new Ambassador in the Uzbek language was published on the online platforms of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, in which he assured his intention to further strengthen relations between Germany and Uzbekistan.
