TASHKENT, May 12. /Dunyo IA/. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received today the newly appointed Ambassador of Slovenia Alenka Suhadolnik with the residence in Moscow, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

"Received the credentials from newly appointed Ambassador of Slovenia to Uzbekistan H.E. Alenka Suhadolnik, – the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel. – We are confident that her appointment marks a significant opportunity to strengthen and expand the multifaceted bilateral relationship between our nations.
Undoubtedly, there is a big room for enriching our partnership. The agenda of bilateral ties for 2025 is rich and very promising. Fostering enhanced cooperation across diverse sectors is our top priority.

Alenka Suhadolnik succeeded Darja Bavdaž Kuret, who headed Slovenia’s diplomatic mission in Tashkent in 2024–2025.
Uzbekistan and Slovenia established diplomatic relations on 16 January 1995.
