TASHKENT, June 14. /Dunyo IA/. The Minister of Foreign Affairs Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held talks in Cairo with Mohamed Farid Saleh, Egypt’s Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
“Our meeting with H.E. Mohamed Farid Saleh, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade of the Arab Republic of Egypt, provided us with an opportunity to further enrich the agenda of economic cooperation between our countries”, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote on his telegram-channel. “Discussed practical measures aimed at increasing bilateral trade, expanding investment flows, strengthening industrial cooperation, and enhancing transport and logistics connectivity. Particular attention was also given to cooperation within free economic zones, the implementation of joint manufacturing projects, and access to new markets.
Noted that the successful implementation of projects involving leading Egyptian companies in Uzbekistan is creating a solid foundation for new joint initiatives. Also emphasized the considerable potential for expanding cooperation in the fields of geology, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, energy, and industry”.
