Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan meets with the Prime Minister of Egypt in Cairo

TASHKENT, June 13. /Dunyo IA/.  Today, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov, met in Cairo with Mostafa Kamal Madbouly, Prime Minister of the Arab Republic of Egypt, today in Cairo, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

“Pleased to meet with H.E. Mostafa Kamal Madbouly, Prime Minister of the Arab Republic of Egypt, today in Cairo, - the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel. - Conveyed the sincere greetings and best wishes of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, H.E. Shavkat Mirziyoyev, to the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, H.E. Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

During our discussions, we thoroughly reviewed key issues related to the further development of the comprehensive partnership between Uzbekistan and Egypt and the expansion of multifaceted cooperation.

Special attention was devoted to elevating trade, economic, and investment cooperation to a new level, expanding industrial collaboration, developing transport and logistics connectivity, and implementing joint projects. Exchanged views on strengthening cooperation in the cultural, humanitarian, educational, and religious-enlightenment spheres, with the aim of further enriching the bonds of friendship between our peoples.

Also discussed pressing regional and international issues. Emphasized that Uzbekistan highly appreciates Egypt’s efforts to promote peace and stability in the Middle East and its commitment to resolving conflicts through political and diplomatic means”.
