Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan met with the Prime Minister of Singapore

TASHKENT, June 22. /Dunyo IA/. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met today with the Prime Minister of Singapore Lawrence Wong, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

“Pleased to meet with H.E. Lawrence Wong, Prime Minister of the Republic of Singapore, - the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel. - At the outset, we conveyed the sincere greetings and best wishes of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, H.E. Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Highlighted the shared aspirations of Uzbekistan and Singapore in economic development, effective governance, innovation, and investment in human capital.

Noted the strong alignment between Singapore’s development model, its experience in building effective state institutions, and the wide-ranging reforms being carried out in Uzbekistan.

In this context, we exchanged views on expanding practical cooperation in education, digital transformation, finance, innovation, and modern public administration.

We are confident that today’s discussions will provide a solid foundation for further strengthening bilateral ties and bringing new momentum to relations between our countries”.
