Ambassador of Kazakhstan completes his diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan

TASHKENT, July 27. /Dunyo IA/. Today, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received the Ambassador of Kazakhstan Beibut Atamkulov, who is completing his diplomatic mission in our country, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

“Received H.E. Beibut Atamkulov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan, on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission in our country, - the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel. - Ambassador’s tenure in Uzbekistan coincided with an important historic period in Uzbekistan–Kazakhstan relations. In particular, on December 22, 2022, the Treaty on Allied Relations between our two states was signed.

Expressed our sincere gratitude to the Ambassador for his significant personal contribution to strengthening friendship, good-neighbourliness and allied relations between our two brotherly countries.

It is particularly noteworthy that the diplomat’s contribution in this regard was highly recognized by President of the Republic of Uzbekistan H.E. Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who awarded him the Order of “Dustlik” (Friendship).

We will always highly value the Ambassador as a sincere friend of Uzbekistan and a distinguished professional, and wish him every success in his future endeavors”.

As a reminder, Beibut Atamkulov, who has headed the Embassy in Tashkent since 2022, will be succeeded by 63-year-old Yeraly Tugzhanov, who was appointed Ambassador to Uzbekistan by a decree of the President of Kazakhstan on July 22nd, 2026.
