ТАSHKENT, July 24. /Dunyo IA/.  Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov, has met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran Abbas Araghchi, in Cholpon-Ata, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

“Had a substantive meeting with H.E. Abbas Araghchi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, - the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel. - Expressed serious concern over the continuing tensions in the Middle East, stressing that exercising restraint and resuming dialogue are now more important than ever.

Discussed further development of the multifaceted relations between Uzbekistan and Iran. Particular attention was paid to effectively utilizing the existing potential for cooperation in trade and economic, transport and logistics and other priority areas.

Also reaffirmed our readiness to continue close and trust-based dialogue within international organizations”.
