Uzbek–Spanish negotiations at the level of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs were held in Madrid

MADRID, April 7. /Dunyo IA/. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, held a meeting in Madrid today with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation of Spain, José Manuel Albares, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
“We held a substantive meeting with H.E. José Manuel Albares, Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation of Spain, - the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel. - Our discussion was open and constructive, focusing on advancing Uzbekistan-Spain relations, intensifying political dialogue, and expanding economic cooperation.
Following the negotiations, we signed a Cooperation Plan between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs for 2026–2028, Agreement on the abolition of visa requirements for holders of diplomatic passports, and a Memorandum of Understanding on strengthening cooperation in the field of diplomatic training.
We are confident that today’s meeting will further strengthen the multifaceted cooperation of Uzbekistan-Spain and we will continue to advance our mutually beneficial partnership”.
