Uzbekistan expands its global trade reach by exporting furniture and related products to 18 countries

TASHKENT, September 3. /Dunyo IA/. According to the National Statistics Committee, in January-July 2025, Uzbekistan exported furniture and furniture products worth USD 10.5 million to 18 foreign countries, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

In the first seven months of 2025, Uzbekistan significantly expanded its footprint in the international furniture market. The total value of exports of furniture and furniture-related products increased by USD 949,000 compared to the same period last year — a clear reflection of the sector’s growing competitiveness and rising demand for Uzbek-made goods abroad.

Uzbek furniture products were exported to 18 countries, with the largest volumes directed to neighboring and regional markets, reinforcing Uzbekistan’s position as a dynamic player in Central Asia’s manufacturing and export landscape.

Top destinations for Uzbekistan’s furniture exports (January–July 2025):

· Russia – USD 4.4 million

· Kazakhstan – USD 2.8 million

· Azerbaijan – USD 1.2 million

· Tajikistan – USD 808,200

· Kyrgyz Republic – USD 562,500

· Armenia – USD 187,600

· Georgia – USD 105,400

· Belarus – USD 104,200

· Other countries – USD 328,600

This continued growth in exports is the result of Uzbekistan’s ongoing economic reforms, trade liberalization, and government support for industrial diversification. Investments in modern technologies, improved production standards, and the promotion of export-oriented enterprises have helped position Uzbek furniture as both high-quality and competitively priced in the global marketplace.

With increasing participation in international trade exhibitions and growing interest from foreign buyers, Uzbekistan’s furniture industry is expected to continue expanding its presence in new markets across Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.
