Uzbekistan Boosts Dried Apricot Exports

TASHKENT, January 11. / «Dunyo» IA /. From January to November 2025, Uzbekistan exported 23.9 thousand tonnes of dried apricots to 56 countries, with total export revenues amounting to USD 45.8 million, «Dunyo» IA’s correspondent reports.
According to the National Statistics Committee, compared with the same period last year, export volumes increased by 13.7 thousand tonnes, or 2.4 times, indicating growing global demand for Uzbekistan’s fruit and vegetable products.
The largest importers of Uzbek dried apricots during the reporting period were:
-China — 5.5 thousand tonnes;
-Kazakhstan — 4.6 thousand tonnes;
-Turkiye — 4.1 thousand tonnes;
-Russia — 1.8 thousand tonnes;
-Ukraine — 1.5 thousand tonnes.
A total of 6.5 thousand tonnes of dried apricots were exported to other countries worldwide.
The expansion of export geography and the multiple increase in shipment volumes confirm the strengthening of Uzbekistan’s position as one of the leading suppliers of high-quality dried apricots and reflect the successful implementation of measures aimed at expanding the country’s export potential.
