SEOUL, November 3. /Dunyo IA/. The World Youth Diversity Festival was held at the National Museum of the Republic of Korea in Seoul, bringing together young people from diverse nations in a celebration of cultural exchange and dialogue, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

More than twenty foreign states and around two hundred children and youth - including secondary‑school students in the Republic of Korea as well as those from children’s homes took part in the event.

The Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, with the support of the Fergana Regional Administration, presented a vibrant exhibition stand that immediately drew the attention of festival visitors. Adorned with traditional patterns, intricate designs, and colorful motifs, the display of Fergana artisans’ handiwork infused the venue with the spirit of Uzbek national heritage. Traditional whistles, pottery, textiles, and embroidered panels sparked curiosity and creativity among South Korean youth, fostering an atmosphere of exploration and artistic engagement.

Participants were also given the opportunity to experience traditional games from different regions of Uzbekistan. Active participation in these activities not only offered a direct encounter with Uzbek cultural heritage but also strengthened friendly ties among young people from diverse nations. Laughter, enjoyment, and encouragement accompanied every moment of the games, creating a lively and memorable celebration.

The awards ceremony marked the festival’s ceremonial conclusion. Active participants received certificates recognizing their contributions and enthusiasm, while organizers expressed gratitude to all who contributed to making the event a vibrant and meaningful occasion.
