Young Uzbek Musicians captivate audiences in Türkiye

ANKARA, February 24. /Dunyo IA/. Young Uzbek musicians, students of the Republican Specialized Music School named after Reinhold Gliere, have over the past month published a series of performances of Turkish songs on their official page on “Instagram”, collectively amassing tens of millions of views, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
For instance, their performance of “Kara Sevda” garnered 45 million views and nearly 2 million likes in just two weeks. Additionally, the Uzbek students' covers of “Belki” by Dedublüman and Tarkan’s “Şımarık” each surpassed the 20-million-view mark. Notably, Tarkan himself liked the performance of his song, providing a major source of inspiration for the young musicians.
An analysis of thousands of comments reveals that a significant portion of the audience is from Türkiye. Users highlight the high level of skill, sincerity, team spirit and vibrant energy of the young performers. Among those who responded are well-known figures; in particular, Turkish actress İclal Aydın left an inspiring comment: “Your joy warms hearts. You are magnificent!”.
Many users emphasize that the work of the Uzbek musicians has become a source of positive emotions amidst challenging news. For instance, user Sevde Şimşek noted that at a time when public space is often filled with distressing reports, the performances of these young artists gave her hope and a good mood. A similar sentiment was expressed by Sena Erdem, who wished the young musicians further success and a bright future.
Thus, through their art, these young musicians are not only showcasing their own talent but also helping to strengthen cultural ties between Uzbekistan and Türkiye, creating an atmosphere of mutual sympathy and respect.
