Delegation Uzbekistan takes part in the meeting of BRICS foreign ministers in Delhi

• 149TASHKENT, May 15. /Dunyo IA/. On May 14–15, 2026, a delegation of Uzbekistan headed by First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhromjon Aloyev took part in the meeting of BRICS foreign ministers held in Delhi, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
According to the MFA, heads of foreign delegations were received by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
During the forum, the Uzbek delegation presented its views on the key issues on the BRICS agenda. In particular, emphasis was placed on innovation in the context of sustainable development, as well as on prospects for reforming the global governance system, strengthening multilateral cooperation, and enhancing the activities of leading international organizations.
It was noted that Uzbekistan’s open and pragmatic regional policy serves to strengthen good-neighborly relations and promote the formation of a common security space.
