Meeting held in Delhi between First Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan and the Minister of External Affairs of India

TASHKENT, May 16. /Dunyo IA/. On May 15, 2026, in Delhi, on the sidelines of the BRICS Foreign Ministers’ Meeting, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhromjon Aloyev held talks with India’s External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the MFA, the parties discussed the implementation of agreements reached at the highest level, strengthening political dialogue, and expanding comprehensive cooperation in the trade, economic, investment, cultural, and humanitarian spheres.

The sides also agreed to hold the 14th session of the Intergovernmental Commission and organize the Uzbekistan–India Business Forum within the framework of the 5th Tashkent International Investment Forum scheduled for June this year.
