TASHKENT, May 16. /Dunyo IA/. National Agency for Social Protection of Uzbekistan has held the large-scale “Inson Uchun” festival in Tashkent for the third time, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Over the years, the event has grown from a conventional trade fair into a major social platform hosting job fairs, professional competitions, educational programs and meetings dedicated to inclusion, employment and human support.

One of the main events of this year's festival was the first-ever National “Abilympics” Championship in Uzbekistan a global international movement aimed at developing the professional skills and supporting the employment of people with disabilities.

The championship participants showcased their skills across various professional disciplines, while employers gained the opportunity to connect with talented and motivated specialists.

Special attention within the framework of the festival was paid to the issues of inclusive employment. The event was attended by companies and entrepreneurs who are currently creating jobs for people with disabilities and developing an inclusive corporate culture.

“For the Social Protection Agency, it is particularly important to create conditions in which people with disabilities can not only receive support, but also study, work, develop, and feel like an integral part of society”, - noted Shahnoza Mirziyoyeva, First Deputy Director of the National Agency for Social Protection.
