Minsk hosts cultural and educational event in honor of Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur

A cultural and educational event was held at the Uzbek Cultural Center of the Maxim Tank Belarusian State Pedagogical University, dedicated to the 543rd anniversary of the birth of the great poet, scholar, and distinguished statesman Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The event was attended by the leadership and department heads of Maxim Tank Belarusian State Pedagogical University, university faculty and students, representatives of local cultural institutions and public organizations, Uzbek nationals living and studying in Belarus, the administration and residents of the Zhdanovichi Children’s Rehabilitation and Wellness Center, representatives and students of Secondary School No. 78 in Minsk, as well as members of the local media.
Speakers highlighted the life and creative legacy of Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur, emphasizing his significant contribution to world literature and culture. As part of the program, Babur’s poetic works were presented in five languages, allowing participants to deeply appreciate the beauty of his creations.
Particular attention was drawn to a theatrical performance on the Belarusian national puppet stage “Batleyka” dedicated to the life and works of the great thinker. In addition, a themed quiz on Babur’s heritage was conducted for attendees, with the most active participants receiving commemorative gifts from the Embassy.
