Navruz Spring Festival brings together compatriots in the German city of Fürth

FÜRTH, April 2. /Dunyo IA/. In the Bavarian city of Fürth, the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Frankfurt am Main, in collaboration with the “Vatandoshlar” Public Foundation, “Uzbekistan Airways” and “Bakhtiyor Oila” project, organized a festive event for compatriots dedicated to Navruz, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The event was attended by compatriots living in various regions of Germany. The Mayor of Fürth, Thomas Jung, attended as a guest of honor.
At the beginning of the event, Consul General Miranshokh Raupov congratulated the participants and spoke about the significance of Navruz, its deep-rooted traditions and the values of unity and national identity.
As part of the cultural program, the “Dustlik Khalqlar” musical ensemble performed alongside artists from Uzbekistan - Khurshid Rasulov and Arslon Gulyamov. They performed operatic works as well as national and contemporary songs, which lent a particularly festive atmosphere to the event.
Special attention was given to children, for whom national games, competitions, and entertainment programs were organized. Participants had the opportunity to learn more about Uzbek traditions, take part in folk games, and socialize with one another.
The event concluded with guests enjoying sumalak, national dishes, and Uzbek pilaf, which vividly demonstrated the richness of the culinary culture and the hospitality of the Uzbek people.
