TASHKENT, April 29. /"Dunyo" IA/. On April 30, Tashkent Metallurgical Plant invited associates: friends, partners, colleagues and all people who are not indifferent to ecology, pollution problems and improving the health of the future generation to "ECO FEST", reports "Dunyo" IA correspondent.

TMZ is the major producer of galvanized and polymer-coated cold-rolled steel in Central Asia and is one of the most eco-friendly enterprises in its industry.

Today the enterprise exports products to more than 15 countries – Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus and other CIS countries. As for the EU countries, shipments were made to Germany, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Finland.

The enterprise is equipped with modern equipment of world producers. The advanced achievements of technology and automation of production processes are implemented here, which allow carrying out the process according to the technology of waste-free production, minimizing the impact on the environment, which allows the plant to have the status of "Green Enterprise".

Over the three years of operation, more than 5 million Euros have been invested in environmental protection.

Unique wastewater treatment equipment and modern filters for controlling emissions into the environment allow the enterprise not to exceed permissible MPE standards.

In 2024, TMZ began directing investments into new environmental projects "Clean Energy", "Clean Air", as well as the introduction of new technologies to reduce the volume of waste to be realized and utilized.

TMZ takes an active part in the nationwide project "Yashil Makon". 12,500 trees and shrubs have been planted on the territory of the Company and the surrounding area. This year we plan to plant another 1,500 trees.

Within the framework of industrial tourism, more than 500 representatives of communities of different directions have already visited the Enterprise.

A tour of the Enterprise and presentation of achievements in the field of ecology, Eco Fair of products of raw material processors, as well as a cultural and entertainment program were organized for the guests.

The purpose of the event is to demonstrate a modern environmentally friendly industrial enterprise and unite representatives of communities of different areas on one platform to exchange experience, receive professional evaluation and further cooperation.

"ECO FEST" has become a space for informal communication and exchange of opinions, a platform for the formation of new effective and sustainable relationships in solving the most pressing environmental problems, which will provide an opportunity to get a professional assessment of the ongoing work of TMZ in the field of environmental protection, as well as increase environmental awareness and attractiveness of working at an eco-friendly Enterprise for young professionals.
