FOSHAN, June 3 /Dunyo IA/. A presentation of Uzbekistan’s investment potential was held in the Chinese city of Foshan, aimed at expanding interregional economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and China, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The business forum was organized by the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Guangzhou in cooperation with the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade in Foshan. The event brought together executives and representatives of around 100 leading companies operating in the fields of industry, trade, and services.

During the presentation, participants were provided with detailed information on Uzbekistan’s stable economic growth, the investment and export potential of its regions, ongoing reforms in priority sectors, as well as the system of legal guarantees, incentives, and preferences offered to investors.

Special attention was given to promising trade, economic, and investment projects proposed for implementation in Uzbekistan.

The Chinese side highly appreciated Uzbekistan’s large-scale reforms, noting the creation of a favourable and reliable business environment for foreign investors, the introduction of a visa-free regime, and the growing number of direct flights between the two countries, which is contributing to the expansion of trade and economic cooperation.

As a result of the forum, an agreement was reached on a visit of a business delegation composed of leading companies from Foshan City to Uzbekistan in the third decade of June this year.
