Uzbekistan Trade House to open in the Capital of Iraq’s Kurdistan Region

ERBIL, July 22. /Dunyo IA/. Following the successful visit of the government and business delegation of Iraqi Kurdistan to Uzbekistan, Ambassador Ayubkhon Yunusov visited the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where he held a meeting with its Chairman, Gaylan Haji Said, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
During the talks, the Ambassador thanked the Chamber's management for organizing the recent visit of the Kurdistan Region delegation to Uzbekistan and reaffirmed readiness to provide comprehensive support for the development of bilateral trade and economic cooperation.
One of the key topics of the meeting was the announcement of the upcoming opening of the Uzbekistan Trading House in Erbil. It is noted that the new center will become a permanent venue for the demonstration and sale of Uzbek products, contributing to the promotion of goods from Uzbekistan in the Kurdistan Region market and expanding opportunities for local entrepreneurs.
Ambassador also stated that the government of Uzbekistan is creating the necessary conditions for developing cooperation with entrepreneurs of the Kurdistan Region, while also working to attract Uzbek companies and investors to implement joint projects and participate in international exhibitions.
Chairman of the Chamber welcomed the initiative to open the Uzbekistan Trading House, noting that it was a practical result of the agreements reached during the delegation's visit to Tashkent. He also emphasized the Chamber's readiness to provide Uzbek companies and investors with the necessary legal and logistical support, expressing confidence that the new trading center will contribute to increasing trade turnover and strengthening economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Iraqi Kurdistan.
