The “Yarada” ensemble of Uzbek dance performers from Siberia took part in the 3rd International “Lazgi” Dance Festival held in Khiva

• 235TASHKENT, April 30. /Dunyo IA/. The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Novosibirsk has organized the first-ever visit to Uzbekistan for “Yarada”, a dance ensemble from Tomsk that performs Uzbek national dances, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
Established in 2012, the “Yarada” Dance Theater is the only Russian ensemble in Siberia performing Uzbek national dances at a professional level.In April 2026, the ensemble was awarded the first-degree laureate title at the “Sodruzhestvo” (Commonwealth) regional competition of national song and dance in Tomsk.
The visit program included master classes at the “Bakhor” State Dance Ensemble named after Mukarram Turgunbayeva and Republican Specialized Boarding School of Choreography. They also visited the State Academy of Choreography of Uzbekistan and the “Lazgi” Song and Dance Ensemble of the State Philharmonic. The tour featured a series of meetings with representatives of choreographic academies in Samarkand, Bukhara and Urgench.
The Russian ensemble was able to showcase its dance skills and exchange practical experience while learning new techniques from our renowned masters of national dance.
The highlight of the “Yarada” ensemble's trip to Uzbekistan was its participation in the 3rd “Lazgi” International Dance Festival, which brought together over 300 talented artists and professional groups from more than thirty countries.
