Uzbekistan–China Interregional Cooperation Forum takes place in Xi'an of China

• 71XI'AN, May 23. /Dunyo IA/. The Third Uzbekistan-China Interregional Forum was held in Xi'an of China, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The prestigious event was co-organized by the Embassy of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan and the Chinese side. It brought together representatives from ministries, government agencies, regional leaders, chambers of commerce and industry, business communities and the media from both countries.
Speaking at the conference, which was held to strengthen mutual business ties and attract investments, speakers emphasized that the bilateral partnership between our countries is of strategic importance. It was highlighted that last year, the mutual trade turnover reached USD 18 billion, and the volume of China's investments in Uzbekistan amounted to USD 17 billion.
It was discussed that cooperation between the regions of the two countries serves to implement new investment projects and create production and industrial capacities, logistics facilities and energy infrastructure.
It was noted that this forum will help raise interregional cooperation between Uzbekistan and China to a higher level, opening new opportunities for implementing joint initiatives, expanding investment partnerships and bringing our peoples closer together.
Within the framework of the forum, the “Uzbekistan National Pavilion”, covering an area of 2,000 square meters, was organized to widely showcase the country's export, tourism and investment potential.
Plenary sessions dedicated to the green economy, digitalization, education, women's entrepreneurship, tourism, transport and logistics, innovations, and agriculture were also held.
Following the meetings and negotiations conducted in G2B and B2B formats, the parties signed a number of agreements on investment and cooperation projects aimed at developing long-term interregional cooperation.
The First Uzbekistan-China Interregional Cooperation Forum took place in January 2024 in Urumqi, China.
The Second Interregional Forum, held on June 1-2, 2025, in Samarkand, demonstrated that regional cooperation has become one of the main pillars of the bilateral partnership, with its scope increasing significantly.
