ISLAMABAD, October 10. /Dunyo IA/. Pakistani media have published articles about the upcoming 11^th Tashkent International Biennale of Contemporary Art, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to “The Daily Morning News” and “Daily Times Karachi”, as well as the online publications “Imroze Pakistan” and “Infora News”, the biennale, themed “Event Horizon”, will take place in the capital of Uzbekistan from October 12^th to 16^th. Programme will feature works by international and Uzbek artists, a visit to Samarkand and other cultural and educational events.

“The biennale has been held in Uzbekistan every two years since 2001. This year’s theme focuses on the human condition at the threshold of technological and cultural change. In the event’s concept, Tashkent, located at the crossroads of ancient caravan routes, is portrayed as an “oasis” - a symbol of hope and new meanings”, publications report.

Media outlets also note that the 10^th Tashkent International Biennale of Contemporary Art, held on October 14–18^th, 2024, brought together more than 40 international participants.
